Book lovers! Join our librarians for an hour of book recommendations as we suggest books for the topic of the week.

• Our video book chats will be available on our Facebook page and our YouTube channel every Saturday at 10am.

Get more comfortable with your phones and tablets in a casual, social learning environment. Each session will start with a short lesson, then you will have time to practice, ask questions, and get technology help.

How to register:

• This is a two-week program, held on Mondays, April 7 and 14. Please ensure you can attend both weeks.
• Register once for both sessions.

Get ready for gardening season in this fun program. Each person will get to decorate a planter before choosing their seeds to plant. All supplies will be provided.

If you love to draw and write comics, join this workshop to learn all the tips and tricks to make your own graphic novel.

How to register:

• Registration starts Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 9am.
• This is a four-week program, held every Monday from April 7 to May 5. Please ensure you can attend all four weeks.
  • Please note: there will be no session on Monday, April 21.
• Register once for all four sessions.

Love all things anime and manga? Join us for crafts, games, and discussing our favourite series like Naruto, One Piece, Demon Slayer, and more! No prior reading or viewing is required.

How to register:

• This is a two-week program, held on April 7 and April 14. Please ensure you can attend both weeks.

An active family storytime with songs, music, puppets, stories, silliness, and more! Early literacy fun suitable for all ages.

Storytime is held every Tuesday from March 4 to April 29.

This class is for beginners. We will practice English speaking and listening together. In partnership with SHARE Family & Community Services.

English Practice Group - Beginners is held every Tuesday.

Please choose only one English Practice Group: the Tuesday class or the Thursday class.

Do you love books and want to practice your English? Join this group where you will read and discuss a book written for adult learners together. In partnership with SHARE Family & Community Services.

This class is suitable for intermediate and advanced learners.

How to register:

• Registration starts Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 9am.
• English Learners' Book Club is a seven-week program, held every Tuesday from March 4 to April 15, 2025.
• Register once for all seven meetings.
• Please choose only one book club: Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
• You will get your book club book at the first meeting.

Need extra time to practice reading? Children will work with a trained teen volunteer to improve their reading skills.
