Calling all comics enthusiasts! Join a unique book club just for comics. Read the book beforehand and then come ready to discuss.

We will be reading We Are Big Time written by Hena Khan and illustrated by Safiya Zerrougi.

Staff will notify you when to pick up your book from the Library.

How to register:

• Registration starts on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 9am.

An active family storytime with songs, music, puppets, stories, silliness, and more! Early literacy fun suitable for all ages.

Storytime is held every Tuesday from September 17 to October 29.

Please note: There will be no drop-in storytime on October 8. There will be a registered Fire Station Storytime instead.

This class is for beginners. We will practice English speaking and listening together. In partnership with SHARE Family & Community Services.

English Practice Group - Beginners is held every Tuesday.

Please choose only one English Practice Group: the Tuesday class or the Thursday class.

Do you love books and want to practice your English? Join this group where you will read and discuss a book written for adult learners together. In partnership with SHARE Family & Community Services.

This class is suitable for intermediate and advanced learners.

How to register:

• English Learners' Book Club is a five-week program, held every Tuesday from September 10 to October 8, 2024.
• Registration starts Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 9am.
• Register once for all five meetings.
• Please choose only one book club: Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
• You will get your book club book at the first meeting.

Love all things anime and manga? Join us for crafts, games, and discussing our favourite series like Naruto, One Piece, Demon Slayer, and more! No prior reading or viewing is required.

How to register:

• Registration starts on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 9am.
• Register for each session separately.

Play a dungeon crawl adventure! Join other kids as you vanquish monsters and search for treasure. We will be playing Level 5 characters. You can bring your own character and dice or they will be supplied for you.

Note: Choose only one of the three D&D sessions:

• #1: Tuesdays, September 10 to 24
• #2: Tuesdays, October 1 to 15
• #3: Tuesdays, October 22 to November 5
